We were delighted to see steelwork take shape at our new Library and Classroom Block at Great Torrington School earlier this month.
The £1.5m project will deliver fantastic new facilities for the school, including a new library, 3 new classrooms and small group work areas, along with meeting rooms dedicated to teacher-student one to one, for emotional and wellbeing support.
The building is to feature extensive glazing, with a modern and sustainable composite cladding and render finish, with powder coated aluminium trim to create a high quality building which will serve the school for decades to come.
TFQ Architects Managing Director, Kevin Flowers said:
'seeing the steelwork rise up at Great Torrington marks an real milestone in this exciting project which is set to deliver some much needed additional facilities for the School.'
