Strawberry Hill is a collection of 15 stunning family homes on the outskirts of the sought after village of Lympstone, in East Devon. The site, originally an under-used agricultural field, was initially the subject of a feasibility and masterplanning service for our Client, to better understand the capabilities of the site and what a development there could provide in terms of both accommodation, space and return on investment. The site was established as an ‘exception site’ meaning development was permitted to allow for affordable housing.
We then worked with our Client to develop a scheme that suited their brief, providing spacious homes, a combination of 5 market homes and 10 affordable. Taking the project through the planning process required coordination with various external consultants including ecology, heritage and flood water, this coordination was vital in ensuring the process moved smoothly and on-time.
On successfully attaining approval, we compiled full technical details for Building Regulations and use on-site..
The project was completed in 2019 and has been incredibly well received by occupants and the public.
