Architectural Technician
TFQ Architects are looking to employ an architectural technician in a full-time, permanent position to join our busy Topsham office.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the residential sector, with experience in the education and commercial sectors being very beneficial.
The role will involve working through all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, liaising with clients, contractors, consultants etc. and leading projects from start to completion. The practice has vast experience within the residential and educational sectors, occasionally working on commercial and healthcare projects, creating a range of interesting projects across the South-West.

-Preparing information/drawings for RIBA Stages 1-5.
-Site Meetings and Inspections
-Project administration
-NBS Specifications
-Schedule of Works/Preliminaries
-Technical advisory role within team
Responsibilities:
-At least 5 - 10 years experience as an Architectural Technician.
-Residential experience is essential, experience in other sectors would be welcomed.
-Experienced in AutoCAD.
-Excellent time planning and ability to work on / balance various projects.
-Strong communications skills.
-Excellent levels of technical knowledge.
-Ability to rely on your own initiative, as well as working well within a team.
-Sound knowledge on UK Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.
-Ability to communicate with our clients and represent the company in the best possible light.
