This one-off home was built in Exton, overlooking the River Exe. The use of natural materials with large glazed areas created a modern, contemporary design, utilising some handmade elements such as the brickwork. 

Internally the house is positioned so the principal rooms face South/South West to make the most of the views across the water and to allow as much sunlight to flow through the rooms as possible. These spaces are all organised around a central stair hall providing the main circulation space.

The use of materials in the project features a colour palette which could be mistaken for being mediterranean. With crisp white renders and an unmistakable copper roof, this property fits right in on its waterside spot and provides a contemporary and spacious family home for our clients.
