TFQ were appointed to oversee the top to bottom refurbishment of this listed waterside property in Torquay. The property itself, a former hotel, was to be converted into a mixed use combination of apartments and holiday-lets. The original building was a Grade Two listed hotel, meaning a restrictive project in strict accordance with conservation officers recommendations and approvals.

With various on site challenges posed from refurbishing existing properties, TFQ worked closely with contractors MBS to maintain the building's art-deco charm, extensively refurbishing the existing spaces, whilst optimising internal space by creating an additional floor level to accommodate two extra apartments, greatly increasing the sell-able floor area for our client.

The site is nestled on a prime location right on the seafront of Torquay Harbour, offering perfect people-watching across the water, with a great atmosphere and stunning views, all along with a sea breeze.
