Ambleside is a top to bottom extension and refurbishment for a bungalow in Exeter. Maximising space for the clients to transform the living areas into a light and spacious home.

Using a front facing, open gable glazed roof and porch the property has much more street presence. This worked alongside red brick, render and timber highlights to give a complementary material palette.

The rear aspect was transformed to create a modern and expansive open plan kitchen and dining area.

A large patio area was created to give more usable and functional garden space to utilise the area for al-fresco dining.

Internally, there are specialised pocket-doors to add flexibility to the space. The contractors utilised concealed door frames to ensure openings are both clean and modern.
