TFQ Architects provide a comprehensive range of services predominately involved with the extensive role of Architecture, but can also offer services in Project Management, Building Surveying and CDM Co-ordination.
TFQ Architects are Chartered Members of The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), so their Architecture services generally follow those comprised by the Institute. The full architectural service can be undertaken and including some or all of the following services:
initial inception
feasibility studies
sketch designs
detail scheme designs for planning applications
detailed construction drawings for building regulations
production information for tender action
tender action
project planning
contract administration through to completion of the building project
As lead architect, TFQ are regularly appointed to head the consultants design team, which would usually comprise a consultant structural engineer, mechanical & electrical engineer and a quantity surveyor with any other consultants deemed necessary for a particular project.
With the introduction of APP1 planning forms in 2008, local Councils are now expecting very comprehensive planning application submissions - TFQ can organise specialist reports, such as arboricultural, ecological, archaeological, flood risk assessments etc as deemed necessary by the Council dependent on the complexity of the application.
Design and construction drawings are prepared in AutoCAD for ease of use between various consultants and to ensure accuracy of information for construction. The facility to provide 3D visualisations and building ‘walkthroughs’ are feasible for all design projects.
TFQ have worked on projects throughout the south west of England, and further afield where requested by existing clients, therefore any project in any location will be considered.
