TFQ Architects, which was formed in 1994, is an independent professional chartered architect’s practice, offering a comprehensive range of services, principally in Architecture but also in the other disciplines of Project Management, Building Surveying and CDM Co-ordination to a broad client base generally located throughout the south west of England. In addition to the two directors, the company includes architectural and technical personnel, with administrative support and a consultant Conservation Architect.

Their office is located at Armada House, Topsham, on the outskirts of Exeter, which provides the company with modern office facilities in a lovely working environment with easy access to the major road network of Devon and the surrounding counties.

TFQ Architects create high quality designs with a sustainable and healthy environment for the building user, with considerable experience that covers a wide range of project types and sizes, including education, residential, residential care, commercial and leisure.

Working with the client’s brief, the emphasis is on creating accommodation beyond expectation, by maximizing the quality of the internal and external spaces but with full consideration to the client’s budget. Designing with quality, cost, ease of construction and sustainability as fundamental objectives, TFQ succeed in meeting the client’s brief and providing a successful build project.

As project architect, TFQ are often appointed to head the consultants design team comprising a variety of consultants as necessary to meet the requirements of a particular project.

In addition to a quality architectural design service they also have the flexibility and quick response needed within an evolving construction industry, being able to adapt to the changing requirements of the informed client, new technology and legislation.
